Megan is a Los Altos native who currently lives with her husband in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose.
Megan recieved her BA in Psychology from Arizona State University. She continued to Loyola Marymount University where she earned both a Masters in Educational Psychology and a PPS Credential in School Psychology.
Megan is a licensed Educational Psychologist by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. She is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and continues to practice part-time as a School Psychologist for a local public school district in the south bay.
Megan is a member of both the California Association of School Psychologists and the National Associtaion of School Psychologists.
Megan has worked with student populations from preschool through high school. She has developed specialized skills for assessing and intervention planning for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Megan is experienced with the IEP process and the special education system. She has collaborated with many families and local comunity agencies to provide support to children with special needs.
Megan is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Modification foundations. She has worked with families and teachers to create school-based positive behavior intervention plans.
Megan has provided social cognitive intervention to children in both small group and individual settings. She has recieved training in Michelle Garcia Winner's Socal Thinking techniques.
